How to combat stress eating during COVID

by admin

Do you struggle with “Quarantine 15,” or the “Quarantine 15?” You are not alone. Stress and stress eating have increased due to the COVID-19 Crisis.

It’s not your fault if this happens to you. Cortisol is released when your body experiences stress. This hormone has been shown to increase appetite. The reward center of your brain may also be activated, making you crave junk foods.

It is therefore very difficult to remain fit in these times. You’re own brain and body seem to be working against you.

You can still do something.

Start Counting Calories Discreetly

If you are aware of the frequency with which you indulge in these meals and snacks, it is easier to minimize their impact.

You can use a free app to count calories and see that eating pizza for breakfast doesn’t ruin your day. Healthy lunches and dinners can help you to repair the damage.

Body Contouring Procedures

Weight loss becomes more difficult as we age. If you’ve gained a little weight, liposuction is a great way to transform your body.

During the COVID Crisis, many people changed their minds about plastic surgery. About 50% of those surveyed indicated that they were considering it for the near future. This could be lipo, or a procedure like rhinoplasty.

Rethink Jogging

If you don’t have an extra bedroom or basement, it is not possible to create a home gym. It doesn’t mean that you can’t exercise.

The COVID is not a problem if you jog. Try changing your perspective on jogging if that sentence makes you roll your eyeballs.

You are not training for a race. You are out there to get some fresh air and burn calories. You might even start to look forward to your daily 30-minute run if you combine it with an audiobook or Podcast.

Healthy Snacks to Keep in the Home

It is easy to eat junk food. Healthy food should be just as easy to prepare and available in your own home. It must also be equally tasty.

Your brain will tell you that chips are more satisfying than fruit and vegetables. You can take your snacking to the next level by combining crunchy snacks like apple slices and peanut butter or guacamole with red bell peppers.

We can be more responsible if we snack or stress eat. We can become more aware when we are doing it and choose healthier alternatives. We can also discover new ways to lose weight sustainably.

Count calories and steps. Do not punish yourself for cheating. This will only make things worse and cause you more stress.
